With over 25 years of practice, Shaul has been supporting people on their healing journeys since opening his clinic in Lansdowne in 2001. His approach is grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine — calm, attentive, and deeply rooted in genuine care for the person in front of him.
Shaul trained in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and deepened his studies with time spent in China. He also lectured in acupuncture at the School of Natural Medicine at the University of the Western Cape.
He is not a clinic in the clinical sense. The space is warm and unhurried. Shaul is the kind of practitioner who listens properly, who can hold space for pain — physical and emotional — and who brings quiet wisdom to his work.
Alongside his private practice, Shaul is deeply committed to accessible community care. For more than 13 years, he has been an integral part of the Flying Needle Project — a community-based initiative providing free acupuncture treatment to people who might not otherwise have access to this form of care.
"Shaul has such a lovely energy and is a skillful acupuncturist. He really helped me."
